The perils of my other job
So here's an article about what can happen when you're not good trailer drives like me and Pigpen. (Ok, Pigpen is a bit better than me b/c he can actually back them up and spin them around like a champ. Me, I like the straight roads better, but I can handle some sticky situations.) Be sure to enlarge the picture at the top of the article for the full effect.
What's really impressive are the pictures from the link in the middle of that article (you can view the pictures without registering--look under the login for the link) taken by one of my friend's rowers. Their team (my friend is a coach) rolled up after the accident had happened and helped out.
Don't worry, this luckily isn't a common occurrance and Pigpen and I have miles and miles of experience doing this. We've driven to Sacramento and back from DC with a trailer that was WAAAAY more loaded than that! I'll have to post a picture of that soon---its a good one. We've also driven up and down the east coast so many times we've lost count. And you'll be happy to know, we have liability contracts with the high school teams we pull for as well just to be safe. There's a reason people hire us--so daddy smith, who's son rows for whatever high school doesn't whip out his SUV and try to pull one of these with no trailer brakes or experience. silly silly, but we've seen some really funny things.
